Job description

Gaming Content Operations Specialist

Location: Onsite - Montreal

Who we are:

As a Gaming Content Operations Specialist, your gaming expertise is the main engine; AI is simply the power-up. You'll play the biggest RPGs on the market, master their systems, and transform that knowledge into definitive guides. You'll leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks—such as formatting item tables, cleaning up raw data, and organizing layouts—so you can focus on what matters most: accurate strategy, deep lore, and high-level gameplay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human-First Content Generation: Write authentic, in-depth walkthroughs, boss guides, and character builds for top RPGs that require genuine player expertise.
  • Leverage Tech for Speed: Use prompt engineering and AI assistants to streamline formatting, data organization, and other repetitive tasks.
  • Data Auditing & Fact-Checking: Verify every stat, drop rate, and quest trigger to ensure our wiki remains accurate and trustworthy.
  • Work alongside a collaborative, passionate team to coordinate wiki coverage for major game launches.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of relevant experience. A degree in Computer Science, Game Design, English, Data Science, or a related field is an asset.
  • RPG Enthusiast: You live for deep progression systems. You have hundreds of hours in top-tier RPGs (like Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Path of Exile, or massive JRPGs). You understand what min-maxing means and love breaking down game mechanics.
  • Comfortable using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to brainstorm, organize, and automate repetitive work, while understanding the importance of human judgment and fact-checking.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot. Experience with Markdown, HTML/CSS, GitHub, or basic Python. Contributions to community wikis (Fandom, Wikidot, etc.), Steam guides, or gaming communities are a plus.

Benefits:

  • Full health insurance plan (including medical, dental, and vision).
  • Daily on-site lunches, snacks, and coffee provided.
  • Fitness subscription reimbursement program.
  • Competitive compensation plan and bonus structure
  • Work in Montreal's world-class gaming ecosystem alongside a team that shares your passion.
  • Learn how to leverage AI professionally while building expertise in gaming content.
  • Create high-quality resources that genuinely help the gaming community.
