Job description

Roblox is seeking a Content Designer to join our Monetization team and drive the future of our platform's economy. In this role, you will play a crucial role in defining the content strategy and information architecture of strategic initiatives across Monetization, creating seamless and compelling experiences that empower both our users and creators. You will be a key player in shaping how we grow revenue, enhance developer earnings, and evolve our core monetization offerings within the Roblox ecosystem. 

You Will:

  • Own and deliver UX content for key monetization surfaces and flows at Roblox, from early exploration through launch
  • Develop a deep understanding of user and developer needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform content design decisions across payment, purchase, and monetization experiences
  • Bring a fresh perspective and deep industry knowledge to drive innovation in monetization design
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers to ensure experiences are valuable, understandable, and easy to use
  • Apply UX writing and content strategy to improve clarity, usability, and engagement across player, parent, and creator experiences
  • Contribute to building and maintaining content guidelines, patterns, and frameworks that support consistency in voice and tone
  • Communicate and document content decisions clearly, using empathy, logic, research insights, and data to inform recommendations
  • Advocate for high-quality content design within your area of ownership
  • Help improve team processes and collaboration by contributing to shared ways of working
  • Identify and implement AI solutions to improve content quality and scale


You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in content design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for e-commerce, payments, or innovative consumer experiences
  • Strong systems thinking and a track record of designing comprehensive and connected user experiences
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, e-commerce best practices, and monetization strategies
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners, including product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers
  • A strong drive to deeply understand product goals from both a business and user perspective, fostering a culture of learning and iteration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate content design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence design direction
  • A strong interest in the gaming industry, user-generated content platforms, and the creator economy
