Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept and design high-performing thumbnails for long-form and short-form YouTube videos
- Collaborate with the creative director and editors to understand the story and emotional beats of each video
- Rapidly generate, iterate, and test concepts under tight deadlines
- Keep up with YouTube thumbnail trends and continually experiment with new styles
- Ensure every thumbnail is optimized for mobile and desktop viewing
What We're Looking For:
- A strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails with proven performance or mock-ups that show mastery of the format
- Deep knowledge of YouTube best practices, CTR metrics, and audience behavior
- Proficiency in Photoshop or similar design software
- Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining high visual standards
- Great visual storytelling instincts and an eye for composition, color, and facial expression
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in frenetic lifestyle and prank content
