Digital Media Intern - Video Production (Fall Internship)
Position Summary
The Digital Media Intern - Video Production will support the creation of dynamic, engaging video content for the Knoxville Ice Bears across social media, digital platforms, and in-game use. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for sports storytelling, short-form content, and high-energy edits.
Key Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Assist in producing hype videos, promotional spots, and sponsored content
  • Capture video footage at team events, community appearances, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Collaborate with the marketing and game presentation teams to develop creative content ideas
  • Prepare and format video assets for in-arena use on game days
  • Organize and maintain video files, footage libraries, and project timelines
  • Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, and emerging content formats

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Video Production, Media, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro required; After Effects and Photoshop a plus)
  • Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (editing and/or color grading preferred)
  • Basic understanding of camera operation, composition, and audio capture
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and short-form video trends
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
