Gallery Director – Luxury Sales & Client Experience

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000–$80,000 base salary + 6–7% uncapped commission

Position Overview

Seeking a sales-driven leader to oversee a luxury gallery specializing in fine art, photography, and high-end furnishings. This role is heavily focused on generating revenue, building long-term client relationships, and delivering an exceptional luxury buying experience.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, confident in consultative sales, and capable of balancing sales, gallery operations, events, and team leadership.

Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive Revenue
  • Sell fine art, luxury furnishings, and custom pieces.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through consultative selling.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and develop new business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with collectors, designers, and high-end clients.
Lead Gallery Operations
  • Oversee daily gallery operations and maintain a polished presentation.
  • Coordinate exhibitions, installations, and display updates.
  • Ensure an outstanding client experience.
Manage People & Partnerships
  • Mentor and lead gallery staff.
  • Recruit and supervise 1–2 sales assistants as the team grows.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service partners to support gallery operations.
Host Client Events
  • Organize and host gallery openings, private events, and VIP experiences.
  • Represent the gallery professionally within the local art and design community.
Ideal Background
  • 5+ years of success in luxury or high-end consultative sales.
