THE ROLE
As an Everpure Power Supply Engineer, you will collaborate with the industry's top engineering talent to define and deliver the power architecture for our high-performance storage arrays. You will serve as the primary technical lead for OEM power supply development, ensuring our systems achieve best-in-class reliability and efficiency. By bridging the gap between internal hardware teams and global suppliers, you ensure that every AC and DC power solution meets Everpure's rigorous standards for uptime and quality.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead End-to-End PSU Development: Own the full lifecycle of OEM power supplies-from defining initial product requirements and evaluating vendor performance to driving schedules and ensuring successful post-GA support.
  • Validate & Characterize Performance: Conduct hands-on lab work to characterize new designs and debug complex multi-power-supply redundant systems, ensuring seamless power distribution across servers and storage platforms.
  • Master System Interfaces: Debug critical communication interfaces including I2C and PMBus to ensure intelligent power management and telemetry meet system software specifications.
  • Drive Compliance & Quality: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate regulatory standards into supplier designs and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for field failures to maintain optimal Annualized Return Rates (ARR).
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Educational Foundation: A BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering; we are looking for senior-level technical mastery in this space, though we highly value talent and will consider exceptional candidates who demonstrate equivalent expertise.
  • Technical Problem Solving: A proven ability to apply advanced analog and power circuit knowledge to complex system qualifications and perform high-level debugging in a lab environment.
  • Advanced Power Design Expertise: Deep technical command of AC-DC and DC-DC design, including a mandatory understanding of Common Redundant Power Supplies (CRPS) and industry best practices for system-level distribution.
  • Strategic Supplier Management: Experience leading technical supplier meetings and driving global partners to meet aggressive development schedules and stringent technical deliverables.
  • Exceptional Communication & Discipline: A self-starter mindset with the ability to write clear technical reports for cross-functional stakeholders and maintain disciplined documentation within JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
