Job description

Responsibilities
Brasfield & Gorrie is looking for a Craft Workforce Development Coordinator to lead training and development efforts across Northwest GA Power Generation project sites. This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on making sure our craft employees are equipped with the skills, certifications, and knowledge they need from day one.
  • Build and manage training curricula across trade disciplines, including safety, rigging, equipment operation, and certifications
  • Schedule and coordinate all training sessions across both project sites, working around crew availability and production schedules
  • Track training completion, certifications, and expiration dates for all craft employees
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the jobsite team and B&G's Field Training Center
  • Produce regular training progress reports for project leadership
  • Identify craft employees showing interest in advancement and flag them for additional development opportunities

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in workforce development, craft training, or a related field, ideally in construction or skilled trades
• Ability to develop training content and curricula for technical subject matter
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training tracks across two active sites
• Comfortable working in an active heavy civil construction environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Background as an instructor or educator at a trade school, apprenticeship program, or similar institution
• Experience tracking employee training records and producing compliance reports
• Familiarity with rigging, flagging/spotter, forklift, or other craft certification programs
This is a full-time, on-site position based out of the Villa Rica office with regular presence at the Northwest GA Power Generation project locations. Travel between sites will be required based on training activity. Standard Monday through Friday schedule with occasional flexibility during high-volume onboarding periods.
