DPS is now hiring a Cook for a Facility in Brunswick, GA. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Cook Job Details:

Location: 2415 Parkwood Dr. Brunswick, GA 31520

Schedule: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Days and hours may vary)

Starting Pay Rate: $21.00/ hour + (based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and portion requirements.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and management to meet mealtime schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering/restocking as needed.
  • Comply with hospital and departmental food preparation standards.
  • Maintain a sanitary, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, food handling, and safety protocols.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and remain on feet for extended periods.
