Summary
We are hiring multiple Heavy Equipment Operators for earthwork construction projects, with primary focus on excavators, dozers, and front-end loaders. We have several openings at various experience levels and are looking for candidates with a range of backgrounds, from operators growing their hands-on equipment experience to experienced professionals skilled in fine grading, finish work, and GPS machine control. What You'll Do
In these roles, you will support earthwork and site development operations by safely operating equipment, maintaining productivity, and helping deliver quality work in the field. Depending on your background and the position level, responsibilities may include production earthmoving, fine grading, finish grading, GPS-enabled machine control operation, and working closely with crews and supervisors to meet project goals.
Openings and Experience Levels
  • Developing Operators: Ideal for candidates with solid construction experience and a desire to grow their operating skills on heavy equipment while working under experienced supervision.
  • Experienced Operators: Suited for candidates who can safely and productively operate equipment on active dirt work projects and contribute to daily production goals.
  • Fine Grading / GPS Operators: Best for candidates with demonstrated success performing fine grading, finish work, and operating GPS-enabled equipment and machine control systems to meet elevations, slopes, and tolerances.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in construction, earthwork, site development, or heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to safely operate in changing field conditions.
  • Strong safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew.
  • For higher-level openings, experience with fine grading, finish grading, grade stakes, and GPS machine control is strongly desired.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL is preferred for some positions.

Work Environment:
