Job description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to oversee grading and site development projects.

The ideal candidate will do take offs and manage projects from start to finish, coordinate field operations, and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage grading and excavation projects from estimating and pre-construction through completion
  • Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and clients
  • Track production, costs, and project progress
  • Review plans, schedules, and project budgets
  • Handle change orders, documentation, and reporting
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met

Requirements:

  • Proven successful track record with 3+ years of experience in grading, excavation, or construction project management
  • Proficiency with Roctek software or similar takeoff software
  • Strong understanding of site development, earthwork quantities, and project scheduling
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management tools
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GPS machine control and grading technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or related field
