We are Now Hiring Food Runners/Expos!

Essential Requirements & Key Responsibilities

  • Provides the highest level of service by adhering to all Gator's Dockside service standards.
  • Fulfills all job responsibilities in order to contribute to our mission of a "great dining experience from beginning to end" for our guests.
  • Works directly with kitchen team members to communicate accurate and standard food cook times.
  • Will follow all plating and presentation standards as outlined by trainers, manuals, and the policies and procedures from the corporate office.
  • Works directly with other FOH team members to ensure all of the guest's needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Assures accuracy and quality for to-go orders,
  • Assist bussers and servers in bussing tables and refills non-alcoholic beverages.
  • While running food ensuring proper food handling guidelines are being followed.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas.
  • Accomplishes all running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled employee to take over.
  • Always do the R.I.G.H.T. thing!

Requirements
A Food Runner/Expo is responsible for representing Gator's Dockside Restaurants as the last part of the quality assurance line for food quality. S/he provides guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to make sure all food goes out in a quality manner and to the specifications of Gator's Dockside. S/he will also work directly with other team members to ensure that all guests' visits exceed their expectations.
Essential Requirements & Skills
  • Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Team members must be able to work in the United States.

  • Bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 30 lbs., for short distances.
  • Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
