Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager

Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Manager of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) leads all aspects of logistics planning, sustainment strategy, and lifecycle support for a Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) mission. This role ensures mission systems are supportable, maintainable, and ready for field deployment and long term sustainment. The ILS Manager drives logistics integration across engineering, program management, fielding, and sustainment teams to create a modern, resilient support architecture for next generation Army command and control capabilities.
This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lifecycle Sustainment Planning
. Develop and execute comprehensive ILS strategies aligned with DoD acquisition and modernization goals
. Lead logistics analyses supporting system design, readiness, sustainability, and maintainability
. Manage development of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), logistics strategies, and sustainment documentation
Configuration, Maintenance, and Supply Support
. Oversee development of maintenance concepts, provisioning, and supportability analysis
. Coordinate spares planning, supply support documentation, and technical data development
. Ensure system configurations are logistics ready, properly documented, and sustainable
Fielding, Training, and Supportability
. Support fielding strategies, New Equipment Training (NET), and training support package development
. Oversee provisioning data, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and maintenance task analysis
. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure training needs align with system design
Technical Data & Documentation Management
. Manage logistics technical data, including manuals, provisioning lists, and sustainment artifacts
. Lead the development and review of IETMs/IETDs and technical publications
. Ensure logistics data accuracy, auditability, and compliance with DoD standards
Stakeholder Integration & Coordination
. Serve as primary liaison with government logistics organizations, fielding teams, and sustainment commands
. Coordinate logistics inputs with engineering, program management, configuration management, and test teams
. Support system readiness reviews, design reviews, and test events with logistics representation
Modernization & Innovation
. Incorporate digital engineering, predictive readiness analytics, and advanced sustainment tools
. Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes, data accuracy, and sustainment modeling
. Assess future logistics requirements to support evolving fielded capabilities
Risk Management & Sustainment Assessment
. Identify logistics r
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education
. BA/BS degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
. Graduate degree preferred but not required
. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree depending on program standards
Experience
. 8+ years of ILS/logistics experience in a Defense environment
. Experience developing or managing sustainment products across the full system lifecycle
. Demonstrated experience with LCSPs, provisioning, maintenance planning, and sustainment analysis
. Experience working with Army or joint service logistics systems preferred
. Experience supporting system fielding, training, and deployment activities
Knowledge & Technical Skills
. Understanding of Defense acquisition logistics frameworks and sustainment policies
. Experience with LORA, FMECA, MTA, provisioning, supply support, and technical publication development
. Familiarity with logistics information systems (e.g., FEDLOG, LIW, GCSS Army)
. Strong understanding of reliability, maintainability, and supportability engineering principles
. Ability to interpret engineering and technical data for logistics application
Leadership & Communication Skills
. Ability to lead cross functional logistics teams and coordinate with engineering, PMs, and field operations
. Strong communication skills for briefings, sustainment presentations, and readiness reporting
. Ability to manage multiple logistics efforts across complex modernization programs

. Experience supporting C5ISR, command and control, or tactical Army systems

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 $110,100.00.
