Job description

Position Summary ​

The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items.


Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Support warehouse operations throughout the warehouse.
  • Use basic hand tools such as drills, and screw drivers
  • Unload trailers by hand
  • Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks
  • Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for delivery
  • Ensure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flaws
  • Prepare customers’ orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembled
  • Use proper lifting techniques:  lift, push, stooping twisting, bending
  • Use RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
  • Open, Assemble, and de-trash product
  • Perform quality control inspections
  • Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.
  • Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Meet company standards for productivity
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes



Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2+) years experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire.  Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time. 


Compensation: $18.00 - $23.40


Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.  Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
