This job often involves using basic hand tools, reading assembly diagrams, and ensuring all pieces fit securely and safely. Furniture assemblers may work for furniture stores, moving companies, or independently to help customers set up new or relocated items. Good attention to detail and some mechanical aptitude are important for this role.
