But what does Funko do?
Funko is a purveyor of pop culture and licensed-focused collectibles company. Funko currently holds thousands of lenses and the rights to create tens of thousands of characters – one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry.  Funko’s Pop! Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for full cycle accounts payable and processing invoices in addition to providing accounting support to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, drive efficiencies and process improvements, and work with a variety of internal departments and external vendors. You must have demonstrated experience in a high-volume environment successfully processing 2,000+ invoices/month.  
 
What You’ll Do
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable invoices.
  • Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Manage the accounts payable inbox with other accounts payable team members.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external accounts payable inquires.
  • Maintain timely and courteous communication with external and internal vendors/departments.
  • Drive efficiencies and improvements for accounts payable processes in accordance with SOX compliance requirements.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • File, maintain, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
  • Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support the accounting department.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years accounts payable experience; including high volumes (2,000+ invoices/month)
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail orientated with strong customer service focus.
  • Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Word. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required.
  • Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed based on workflow, deadlines and/or special projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting or related field preferred.
Salary Information
The base hourly range for this position in the selected city is $20.77 - $24.52 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
