Job description

Kawasaki Motors Retail Finance (KMRF) is seeking a Funding Coordinator, Document Support for an entry-level role responsible for processing, verifying, and organizing paper contract packages received from dealerships. This position focuses on clerical accuracy, document completeness, and tracking to ensure contract files are properly documented, logged, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end lifecycle of retail finance within a newly established captive finance operation. The individual in this position will gain foundational insight into dealership documentation, contract execution, and funding operations, making it a strong entry point into the powersports finance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, open, and organize incoming paper contract packages from dealerships
  • Review each contract package to confirm all required documents and wet ink signatures are present
  • Verify signatures are complete, legible, and properly executed on all required pages
  • Log and manifest each paper contract package in the designated tracking system
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect documents within contract packages
  • Communicate missing or outstanding items to the appropriate internal team using established communication templates
  • File and store completed contract packages in accordance with document retention and filing procedures
  • Maintain accurate records to support internal audits and compliance reviews
  • Perform other clerical or administrative duties assigned within Funding Operations
  • Must be available to work on-site at our Foothill Ranch, CA location

The hours for this position are Tuesday-Sunday from 9am - 6pm (subject to change based on business needs).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior clerical, administrative, or office experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy

Profile Differentiators:
  • Experience handling physical documents or records management
  • Exposure to financial services, contracts, or dealership operations (preferred but not required)

Salary:
  • Salary range: $20.00-$23.00 hour
