Summary of Position
Accounting support position with responsibility forSocial Enterprisesaccounts receivable(invoicing and collections),maintainingaccuratecustomer records, generating reports.Accurately record and managefinancial records in donor databaseand Corporate Guardianshipsoftware.Liaisonand fiscal supportbetween finance andprograms (Fund Development, Social Enterprise, Corporate Guardianship) with clear communication andaccuratereporting of financial information.Administrativeoffice support - answering phones and greeting guests as needed.
Educationand Experience
Post secondary education inadministrative assistant,accounting, business administration,orrelated field; associate degree preferred.DemonstratedproficiencyinOffice software and general accounting processes.Strong organizationaland relationshipskillsessential.This position requires pre-employment and annual background checks.

- Proficiency withaccounting principles and proceduresand a high aptitude for general math skills.
- Process invoices and payments for Social Enterprises.
- Proficiencywithoffice practices andproceduresand skill in their applications.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office products, accounting software,andallofficeequipment.
- Enter donationsand grantsinto applicable software.
- Pay billsand make deposits for individual wards in Guardianship.
- Work closely with other departments toassurefiscalresponsibilityproviding reports andinformation.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Highdegreeof accuracy,professionalism, and confidentialityonall work.
- Account reconciliation: Customers, Individuals(Wards), grants, general ledger
- Communicate effectivelywith internal and external contacts in both written and verbalformat.
- Effectively answer and transfer phone callsand perform receptionist duties (as needed).
- Maintain a variety of reportsforaccountingandsales department andoversee thedevelopment/maintenance of an electronic monthly report folderfor various departments.
- Open/Close office, answer phones and greet guests
- Contactcustomers whose payments aredelinquent andmonitorreceivables to keep payments up to date.
- Maintain organized files (physical and electronic) and officearea.
- Involvement in various committees as assigned.
- This position requires use of a company email address which requires an application to be downloaded on your personal cell phone for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure cyber security.
Physical Requirements
- Ability tofacilitate,initiate&respondto verbal, written, computerized,telephone&faxcommunications.
- Mobility to access various locations within/outside ODC facilities.
- Ability to perform quality inspection according to ODC'sand/or customer's requirements.
- Ability tooperatevarious office equipment &technology.
- Standing, sitting, walkingfrequentlyrequired.
- Lifting 25 - 35lbsoccasionally.
- Reliable vehicle (unless determined exempt with HR)
