Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Business Analyst (TBA) partners with Product Managers, Engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technology vendors to deliver software products and digital solutions across Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

This role serves as the bridge between business needs and technical execution, translating product strategy into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working in Agile software development environments and understands the software development lifecycle, system integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications.

The TBA will play a significant role in evaluating and implementing third-party SaaS and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, helping integrate vendor products into Fontainebleau's digital ecosystem. This position works closely with Product Managers and offers a strong growth path toward Product Owner and Product Manager roles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Partner with Product Managers, engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver software products and technology solutions
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Write clear, detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage and refine product backlogs using Jira
  • Create and maintain product and technical documentation in Confluence.
  • Experienced working in Agile software development (we use a hybrid approach).
  • Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and support successful product delivery
  • Support testing, user acceptance activities, releases, and production deployments.
  • Evaluate SaaS and COTS solutions, including vendor capabilities, integrations, and implementation approaches
  • Facilitate vendor meetings, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Define and document integration requirements between vendor systems and internal platforms
  • Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards
  • Develop process flows, business workflows, and functional specifications
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working closely with Product Managers and software development teams.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing SaaS and/or COTS solutions.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles, environments, release processes, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hospitality, gaming, or entertainment industry experience is a plus.
  • Product Owner, Scrum, Business Analysis, or Agile certifications.
  • Experience supporting digital products, mobile applications, or customer-facing platforms.
  • Experience with vendor selection, RFP/RFI processes, and software evaluations.
  • Experience implementing enterprise SaaS platforms and third-party integrations.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
