Job description

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a positive and energetic collaborator to join our marketing team as a Business Communications Manager. In this role, you’ll work with great people, great food and make an impact across thousands of cafés and markets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive partner acquisition, stewardship and retention through compelling, high-quality communications
  • Serve as a strategic storyteller, developing messaging that clearly communicates AVI’s value propositions, differentiators and solutions
  • Lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business growth goals
  • Develop and manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, including complex, multi-faceted proposals and presentations
  • Serve as lead writer for proposals, business pitches and client communications, owning strategy, messaging and content development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment, partnering with operations, culinary, finance and leadership teams
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality across all communications deliverables
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and communication effectiveness
  • Utilize CRM, CMS and project management tools; contribute to content library development and management
  • Support integrated communications efforts across digital, social media and PR channels

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in business communications or a related field
  • Proven experience managing high-accountability projects in deadline-driven environments
  • Exceptional writing, editing and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize and leverage complex information
  • Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and drive projects through completion
  • Experience working on highly collaborative, cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for writing and content development
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Experience in business development or client-facing environments preferred
  • Positive, service-oriented and persistent mindset with a focus on driving revenue and growth
