Reports To: Nutrition Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time

???? What You’ll Do:

As a Nutritionist with Children’s Friend, you’ll be at the heart of programs like WIC, Head Start, Early Head Start, and Childcare Services — delivering critical, culturally aware nutrition counseling to families. You’ll:

  • Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling tailored to each program and family's needs.

  • Lead engaging wellness activities like active play classes, cooking demos, and farmer’s market visits.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate care and refer families to services.

  • Develop Individual Nutrition Plans and ensure allergy/dietary needs are properly documented.

  • Be a go-to resource on nutrition, food safety, and wellness for families and staff.

???? What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience preferred.

  • A passion for serving diverse communities — bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply!

  • Valid driver’s license, car, and insurance for travel to various sites.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
