Sodexo is hiring Registered Dietitians (RDs) to join our innovative nutrition team at Vail Health in beautiful Vail, Colorado. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, and entry-level Registered Dietitians are encouraged to apply.

Vail Health is home to one of the most advanced mountain healthcare systems in the world-offering state-of-the-art care in a breathtaking alpine setting. This role is primarily based at Vail Health Hospital and may also support the Precourt Healing Center (PHC), a newly opened inpatient crisis stabilization behavioral health facility.

Compensation

Full-Time Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually

What You Bring
  • Registered Dietitian Credential (RD/RDN); acute care and/or behavioral health experience preferred
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patientcentered nutrition care to inpatients with a wide range of medical conditions and mental health needs, including those in a psychiatric setting
  • Strong communication, customer service, and timemanagement skills, with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and priorities
  • Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays, as required by the schedule

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
