About Us

Orveon is a new kind of beauty company on a powerful mission: to change the way the world thinks about beauty. We dare to do things differently โ€” pushing boundaries with purpose, inspiring creativity, and moving with intention in everything we do.

We are a collective of three premium and prestige beauty brands: bareMinerals, BUXOM, and Laura Mercier. With offices in New York, London, Singapore and Columbus, we combine the energy of an entrepreneurial spirit with the scale and ambition to change the way the world thinks about beauty.

Our culture is built on our IMPACT values โ€” Innovative, Motivated, Passionate, Accountable, Collaborative, and Thoughtful. These aren't just words; they define how we show up for each other, for our brands, and for the world around us. We gain strength from our differences and believe that progress happens when we move as one. We are proud to offer a hybrid work model to support the work-life balance of our teams, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, agile environment where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Functional Manager to support, optimize, and enhance our order-to-delivery workflows across all order channelsโ€”ecommerce (Amazon, Shopify), B2B EDI, and direct sales. This role is the business-facing expert for order management processes within NetSuite, working closely with the Enterprise Architecture, Senior Specialist IT Operations and the other IT Functional Manager to ensure systems and processes meet stakeholder needs. You will serve as the key liaison between sales, customer operations, and ITโ€”translating business requirements into functional specifications, testing solutions, and supporting day-to-day operations

Primary Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize order-to-delivery processes within NetSuite across all order channels (ecommerce, EDI, direct), including sales order entry, order fulfillment, shipment management, and inventory tracking.
  • Serve as business subject matter expert for NetSuite Order Management module, order fulfillment workflows, and multi-channel order processing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to reduce manual work, errors, and order fulfillment cycle time.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Architecture and the Senior Specialist IT Operations on functional requirements for NetSuite configuration, customization, and integration improvements.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Collaborate with customer operations, digital/ecommerce, and B2B teams to understand business needs and gather functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and process documentation.
  • Document current-state workflows, identify gaps, and propose future-state order management processes.
  • Create and maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides for order management issues across all channels.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Lead functional testing for order management enhancements.
  • Develop test plans and test cases for end-to-end order-to-delivery scenarios across all channels (Amazon, Shopify, EDI, direct orders).
  • Work with the Enterprise Architecture and the Senior Specialist IT Operations to validate data flows, integrations, and system synchronization between NetSuite and external platforms.
  • Sign off on functional correctness before changes are deployed to production.

Stakeholder Training & Communication

  • Conduct training sessions on order management processes and system changes when required.
  • Act as the primary liaison between order management business users, IT (Integration Manager and NetSuite Admin), and external partners (ecommerce platforms, EDI partners, 3PL providers).
  • Communicate functional requirements, changes, and issue status clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5โ€“10 years of IT business analysis, functional analysis, or systems support experience, with strong focus on order management, supply chain, or fulfillment processes.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including order entry, sales orders, fulfillment, and inventory management modules.
  • Understanding of multi-channel order processing (ecommerce, EDI, direct sales) and related business workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a process-focused, detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in functional testing, process mapping, and requirements documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate between business and technical language.
  • Ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials.

Preferred

  • Prior experience collaborating with integration specialists, architecture teams, or IT development teams.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify) and their order workflows.
  • Working knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) order processing and EDI standards (e.g., 850, 856, 810).
  • Understanding of 3PL/fulfillment operations and warehouse management system (WMS) concepts.
  • Exposure to APIs, data mapping, or integration concepts (not required to implement, but valuable for communication).
  • NetSuite Administrator or functional certification.

Collaboration & Reporting

This role works closely with the Enterprise Architecture and the Senior Specialist IT Operations, who are responsible for integration architecture, APIs, middleware and EDI technical management. The Functional Manager serves as the business-side expert, focusing on order

management workflows, functional requirements, testing and stakeholder communication, โ€”enabling the Enterprise Architecture and the Senior Specialist IT Operations to focus on the technical architecture and system implementation.
