Position Description:
CGI is seeking a high-potential Senior Functional Tester/Consultant or Test Engineer with experience testing SAP ECC or S/4HANA. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients, test engineers, functional testers, and the test lead to understand business requirements; design and present testing solutions for SAP S/4HANA; and participate in the full software lifecycle of an SAP greenfield implementation. The primary focus is on testing and validating the solution in SAP S/4HANA, Public Sector.
This role requires a broad understanding of SAP Federal Financial accounting processes and solutions, as well as experience with automated testing tools such as Tricentis ECT, UiPath, or similar, to establish a CI/CD pipeline for regression testing during initial deployment and subsequent enhancements. This project operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that leverages Agile/Scrum methodology to quickly build and test solutions based on customer requirements.
This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Participate in Agile teams responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting SAP Financials, Procurement, and Assets.
• Enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test scripts to support multiple testing phases, including functional system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, performance, and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Design and configure automated test scripts across all SAP modules (FI, CO, FM/GL, SD, MM, AA).
• Act as a liaison with the client for troubleshooting-investigate, analyze, and resolve software issues, and map client business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Ensure the successful testing of SAP S/4HANA, including providing testing guidance, presentations, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to government contract and/or clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, as well as successful completion of a CGI background check prior to starting work. In addition, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• A minimum of 6 years of ERP functional and/or testing experience, ideally supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Proficiency in analyzing business/system requirement documents and developing test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM), test strategies, and test-results documentation.
• Adept at implementing automation with an emphasis on reuse.
• Experience using a disciplined approach to balance testing cycles, documentation reviews, and release notes.
• Experience in integration, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP application areas such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), • • • Cost Management (CO), and/or Funds Management (FM).
• Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork and facilitation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities; capable of presenting and discussing strategies and technical information in a manner that builds rapport, persuades, and supports understanding for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Desired qualifications:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience using SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with automated testing solutions such as Tricentis ECT (including Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad) and SAP Solution Manager.
• Experience with automated testing solutions such as UiPath Test Suite/Test Manager, UiPath RPA, and UiPath Change Impact Analysis for SAP.
• Experience developing test cases and test scripts using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Experience with the Xray test-management tool in Jira.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
