Description
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused team member to fill the Fun
Department Supervisor Position. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, promoting a
safe and welcoming environment, and providing excellent guest service. This role requires
flexibility to oversee pool operations by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to facility
rules, while also overseeing activities and Kid's Club. The successful candidate will have
excellent organization skills, positive leadership qualities, and be ready to go above and beyond
for guests on a daily basis while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
The Fun Department Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director in making sure the
department runs smoothly and efficiently. The Fun Department Supervisor reports directly to the
Fun Department Director.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Supports, supervises and oversees the Pool & Kid's Club in daily tasks and
responsibilities.
? Reports any incidents to the Fun Director in a timely manner.
? Ensures all daily activity materials are stocked and prepared. Included but not limited to:
? Tie Dye: Shirts, Rubberbands, Gloves, Dyes, etc.
? Horseshoe Painting: Paints, Prepped Horseshoes, etc.
? Marshmallow Engineering: Unwrapped Toothpicks, Marshmallows, etc.
? Sip and Paint Materials.
? S'more Kits: Checking counts and prepping kits with a heat sealer. Including
activities, private groups & scheduled amenities.
? Bingo Materials & Prizes.
? Water Balloon Showdown Materials.
? Ensures all Kid's Club materials are stocked by creating and using related inventory lists.
? Assists in creating Kid's Club, Pool & Holiday activities.
? Regularly checks activity and camp sign ups. Assists in filling in when there are last
minute sign ups if coverage isn't found.
? Assists with training for Counselors, Pool Attendants and Pool Servers.
? Works shifts as a Pool Attendant, Counselor & Pool Server to ensure all areas are
running smoothly.
Work Environment:
? Outdoor work in warm/hot weather.
? May involve exposure to pool chemicals, sunlight, and guests in swimwear.
? May require weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
