We are hiring for another Part-Time Evening Behavior Technician.

The ideal Registered Behavior Technician is dedicated to the idea that every person deserves to be seen regardless of their abilities and disabilities. Minimum Requirements:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field. Candidates with incomplete degrees will be considered based on experience.
  • Complete a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Complete a 40-hour training program (conducted by a BACB certificant) based on the RBT Task List.
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment
  • Reliable transportation (proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance required)
  • Must be able to travel to multiple work sites, including offices, homes, schools, and other locations in the community.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 35 pounds.
  • The position requires physically prompting clients and requires the ability to move quickly from one location to another to support the client and staff. In addition, transitioning from a seated position on the floor to standing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
  • All employees are expected to follow all safety rules and policies.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor.
  • Accurately completes all required documentation and data collection daily.
  • Complete online billing accordingly to the insurance codes authorized and submit in the specified timeframe.
  • Meets regularly with Supervisor and participates in consultations in-person with client and BCBA.
  • Attend introductory and ongoing training.
  • Communicates in a professional, confidential, and respectful manner with clients, parents, behavior analysts, and other members of the community.
