They work for companies or organizations on a standard full-time schedule, typically 40 hours per week. Their responsibilities can include writing code, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with other team members, and staying updated with new technologies. Fulltime roles often provide benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a fulltime software developer?

To thrive as a Fulltime Software Developer, you need proficiency in programming languages (such as Java, Python, or JavaScript), problem-solving abilities, and typically a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with development frameworks, version control systems like Git, and experience with tools such as IDEs and CI/CD pipelines are commonly required. Business Developer - Commercial Landscaping
About the Role
We're seeking a true "hunter" Business Developer who thrives on prospecting, uncovering new opportunities, and winning new business. This is not an account management role-it's about building new relationships, generating leads, and closing deals to drive growth.
You'll be in the field actively identifying commercial property prospects, presenting customized solutions, and securing long-term landscape maintenance contracts.
What You'll Do
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the commercial landscaping market
• Conduct cold calls, site visits, and attend networking events to build a pipeline of qualified leads
• Build relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers
• Develop and present customized maintenance solutions and proposals
• Collaborate with operations and estimating teams on pricing and service planning
• Track sales activity in CRM software and submit weekly progress reports
• Ensure a smooth handoff to account management and field teams
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience; landscaping, facilities, or service industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable prospecting and developing new business
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Compensation
• Base salary: $80,000-$100,000 per year
• 4% commission on qualified sales
Benefits
• Health, dental, and vision insurance starting day one
• Paid time off and holidays
• Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement
• 401(k) with employer match
Work Environment
• Field-based sales position with frequent outdoor site visits
• Occasional walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
