They work for companies or organizations on a standard full-time schedule, typically 40 hours per week. Their responsibilities can include writing code, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with other team members, and staying updated with new technologies. Fulltime roles often provide benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

What are some common challenges faced by fulltime software developers in agile teams, and how can they be addressed?

One common challenge for fulltime software developers working in agile teams is balancing the need for rapid iteration with maintaining high code quality. Developers often face tight deadlines for sprint deliverables, which can sometimes lead to technical debt if not carefully managed. This is a role for a technical leader who is passionate about writing high-quality code, driving architectural innovation, and mentoring a talented team to deliver industry-leading technology. You will bridge the gap between complex hardware requirements and our sophisticated AI platform, directly impacting the safety and security of our customers.
This role is based in-office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes, productivity, and efficiency. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement tools and methodologies to optimize software development lifecycle.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on embedded development.
  • Object-oriented and embedded-system design experience.
