What You’ll Build

We’re hiring a Junior PHP/MySQL Programmer/Developer to support our in-office development team in American Fork, UT. This role exists to help us maintain and enhance the web software our clients rely on, with a focus on steady improvements and reliable troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve existing PHP/MySQL web applications
- Write and update JavaScript, HTML, and CSS by hand
- Tune SQL queries for performance on large datasets
- Debug issues, document fixes, and collaborate through Git-based version control
Required skills/qualifications:
- 1–3 years of PHP/MySQL experience
- Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git
- Experience with SQL query optimization at scale
- Practical problem-solving and debugging mindset

Your Typical Day

You’ll work onsite Monday through Friday (9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling available) at our corporate headquarters at 648 East State Road in American Fork. Expect a mix of focused coding time and quick check-ins with teammates. Your day usually includes reviewing tickets, making small, careful updates, testing changes locally, and pushing updates through Git. When something breaks, you’ll reproduce the issue, trace it to the source, and verify the fix before moving on. Pay range for this full-time role is $65,000–$70,000 per year.
