This position primarily operates remotely, giving you the freedom to conduct sessions from your home office while still being fully integrated into our organizational culture. However, access to our outpatient office is available for those who prefer an in-person setting. • Build rapport with clients through trust and understanding, establishing a therapeutic alliance that encourages open communication.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders accurately, leveraging best practices in treatment modalities.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on detailed evaluations of individual client needs and circumstances.
• Provide ongoing counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, adapting treatment plans as their needs evolve.
• Regularly track and assess patient progress, utilizing tools and methodologies that facilitate effective therapeutic techniques.
• Engage in therapeutic sessions, including group therapy when applicable, and refer clients to specialized practitioners as needed.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and develop cohesive strategies for client support.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Flourish Counsel Connect, you will focus on working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing family dynamics, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will provide targeted therapy to clients addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, ensuring to apply your expertise in addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding and prior experience with evidence-based practices for treating addiction and mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate clients effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently within a team setting.

• Prior experience working in a multidisciplinary mental health environment or outpatient facility.
• Specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other contemporary therapeutic methodologies.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient data and documentation.
