Job description

We are bringing an exciting multi-concept venue this fall to one location on the famed Las Vegas Strip that will include a WHATABURGER & Parry's Pizzeria & TapHouse topped off with Whiskey Union Bourbon Bar on our Mezzanine level. https://parryspizza.com https://whataburger.com We are looking for high energy people with positive, friendly attitudes to join our team. Our busy restaurants mean consistent hours, flexible schedules and the opportunity to earn a great income. Responsibilities + Duties:
- Ensure the restaurant is kept clean through industry best safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain a clean kitchen throughout the shift by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing the trash
- Follow recipes to prepare our in-house recipes
- Practice great time management to ensure the entire prep sheet is completed efficiently
- Understand the spec sizes, taste and visual expectations of all prep items
- Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly
Qualifications + Skills:
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
- Must have a courteous, energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Follow recipes to prepare our in-house recipes
- Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly
- Follow good time management practices to cook each food order within the expected ticket time
- Conduct industry best safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain a clean kitchen throughout the shift by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces and removing the trash

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
