Podiatrist (1099 Independent Contractor) - Western Maine (New Graduates can also apply)

Job Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor (1099)
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams to diagnose and treat various conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes.
  • Educate patients on preventive foot care, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
  • Travel to local nursing homes to provide podiatric care.
  • Maintain detailed, compliant, and accurate medical records.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program.
  • Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency.
  • New Graduates can also apply for this position
  • Valid license to practice podiatry in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain).
  • Willingness to travel to local facilities (e.g., nursing homes).
  • Passionate about improving patient outcomes and delivering personalized care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certified (preferred, not required).
  • Background or knowledge in internal medicine or hospice/palliative care is a plus.
