Position Overview

Western Mind Care Hub is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team in Austin, Texas. This full-time position comes with a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, rewarding clinicians for their hard work and commitment to improving the mental health of our diverse patient population. As a vital part of our practice, you will provide personalized counseling services that help clients navigate their mental health journeys in a supportive and understanding environment.

About the Organization

At Western Mind Care Hub, we pride ourselves on being a premier private outpatient mental health practice. Our mission is to deliver top-tier mental health services to individuals across various age groups, including adults, children, and families. We emphasize delivering care in the least restrictive environment possible, reinforcing our belief that quality mental health care should be accessible to all in the community.

Our organization is built on collaboration; we work closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care to share resources, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Our unified approach enhances the variety and quality of services offered and maximizes the potential for positive client outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while remaining integrated within a collaborative outpatient treatment model. Clinicians have access to cutting-edge tools and systems, including client management software and telehealth platforms. We emphasize work-life balance, ensuring our clinicians can flourish both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an active caseload of clients, fostering meaningful relationships grounded in professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress and discuss any changes needed to their treatment plans, ultimately guiding decisions regarding discharge when appropriate.
  • Design, implement, and continually evaluate personalized treatment plans that align with each clientโ€™s specific needs, goals, and strengths.
  • Document interactions and maintain progress notes meticulously, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to establish a clear understanding of clientsโ€™ challenges, strengths, and treatment needs.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each clientโ€™s unique circumstances.
  • Engage in regular individual supervision sessions, using feedback to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and continuous improvement in practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse clientele that includes at-risk youth, adults facing mental health challenges, and families seeking support. We are committed to addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our approach is centered around creating a safe, therapeutic environment that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
  • A minimum of three years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in the therapy process.
  • Strong technology skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY or comparable client management tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a focus on tailored therapeutic strategies.
  • A solid background in performing intake assessments and creating effective treatment plans based on client evaluations.
  • Understanding of current mental health laws, ethics, and best practices in counseling.
Compensation and Benefits

As part of our commitment to providing a supportive working environment, we offer a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, reflecting the value of your skills and experience. Our compensation package includes a fee-for-service model, guaranteeing payment ahead of collections and providing financial stability.

  • Bonus opportunities are available to reward exceptional performance.
  • W2 employment status with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with additional supplemental options.
  • 401k retirement plan that includes company contributions to support your financial future.
  • Malpractice insurance provided to all clinicians.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including free CEUs on vital mental health topics.
