UPMC Western Maryland is a voluntary nonprofit, short term acute care hospital with 240 Medicare certified beds and is a member of the Western Maryland Health System. UPMC Western Maryland provides healthcare services for residents in Allegany and Garrett Counties in Maryland and surrounding counties in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. State of the art medical equipment and an experienced staff ensure community members have access to serious medicine close to home. This care team model means that we focus on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Cardiac Stipend: $25K

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: Various Shifts . No in house call. Beeper call.
Cases include, but are not limited to, Ortho, General, Neuro, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
