Job description

Our client is expanding into Wealth Management and looking for their first Product Manager in this space. You'll lead early-stage innovation, researching, ideating, testing, and launching new products for small business owners and their employees. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with clear growth potential as the team scales.

This full-time Wealth Innovation Product Manager will work on-site in Plano, with 35 remote days.

SALARY OFFERED:  

Group Level - $204K-$247K OTE

Innovation Level - $154K - $180K OTE

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead discovery and design for wealth products targeting SMB clients
  • Research market trends, client needs, and competitive solutions
  • Generate and test new product ideas (think digital advice, financial planning, etc.)
  • Write business cases and briefs (no endless slide decks here)
  • Run pilots, experiments, and validate ROI
  • Collaborate across marketing, ops, legal, and compliance
  • Present findings and strategy to senior executives

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years in product, innovation, or strategy roles
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Experience building new products (not just features); leading discovery and prototyping
  • Strong writer and communicator—especially with execs
  • Worked with or for small businesses or clients
  • Skilled in frameworks like Jobs-To-Be-Done
  • Organized, analytical, and hands-on across multiple projects
  • Preferred:
    • Wealth management, retirement, or insurance experience
    • Built business cases or pro forma P&Ls
    • Product certification (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM)
