Part-Time, With Potential to Grow Into Full-Time. Bilingual Vietnamese Required.

Have you managed a team before, and are you ready to run something that is actually yours to run? Or are you a graduate student, a retired teacher, or someone with a few years of Center or team management experience, looking for the first real step into center leadership?
Mathnasium of Garden Grove is hiring an Assistant Center Director. This is the first step into center leadership at Mathnasium, the role that sits directly below Center Director. You will teach, supervise instructors, train new hires, handle parent questions and escalations directly, run enrollment and retention conversations, administer diagnostic assessments, and step in as acting director when the Center Director is not present. Because a significant portion of our families communicate in Vietnamese, fluency in Vietnamese is required for both tracks below.
Two Paths Into This Role

If you bring five or more years of management or supervisory experience, ideally paired with math-specific instructional background, you step directly into the full Assistant Center Director role, and compensation reflects that experience level.
If you have five or fewer years of experience managing a team or a Center, whether as a graduate student, a retired or credentialed teacher, or someone coming from a different management background, you begin teaching and assisting the Center Director directly, taking on supervisory responsibility and parent interactions as you grow into the full role. Compensation for this track reflects your growth path and increases as you take on more responsibility. Tell us in your application which path fits where you are right now.
