Hours:ย Full-Time.ย Coverage ofย Hurrdatย Sports may require occasional travel within Lincoln,ย Omahaย and the state of Nebraskaย and will require hours that extend beyond the typical 9-to-5ย thatย may require someย weekendsย

Mergers and acquisitions over the years (with B2 Interactive, Disconnected Media, Digital Hero Films, Victory Fighting Championship, Hail Varsity, and Parkville Media)ย haveย grown our team to over 150 people.ย 

We serve over 200 clients who collectivelyย operateย in 8 countries, including 43 states in the United States. Our clients range from local businesses just starting to build their brand and online presence to enterprise organizations.ย 

About the role:ย 

We are seeking aย juniorย video editorย for various sports within the state of Nebraska that may include but is not limited to, the Huskers, UNO, Creighton, professional sports organizations within Nebraska.ย ย This position willย take instructionย on execution of video projectsย from the senior Video Editor and Sports Director. This position willย also help with social media asset editing and various otherย projects..ย This position reportsย directly toย theย Hurrdatย Sports Directorย 

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):ย 

  • Working closely withย Hurrdatย Sports team (senior video editor,ย sports director, social mediaย strategistย and content creators) to create and execute various multimedia elements forย Hurrdatย Sports socialย channelsย 

  • Createย new ideasย for video projects for theย Hurrdatย Sports social channels andย websiteย 

  • Production of this content may include portions of the production or the entire production depending on Employeeโ€™sย ability and capacity to do such.ย 

  • BTS footage of events the teamย coversย 

  • Secondaryย camera operation on larger production shootsย 

  • Edit ofย some video projectย 

  • Creative directionย on some assignedย projectsย 

  • Other tasks as reasonably requested byย Companyย 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:ย 

  • Proficient in professional video editing applicationsย ย 

  • Ability to collaborate with clients/co-workers on various needs/projectsย ย 

  • Ability to conductย highly-organized, detail-oriented workย ย 

  • Must have flexibleย scheduleย ย 

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills/networkingย ย 

Preferred Experienceย 

  • Photography experience is strongly preferred.

  • Adobe Creative Cloudย 

  • Adobe Premiereย 

  • Adobe Auditionย 

  • Basic Camera and Video Production Knowledgeย 

Candidates willย be requiredย to pass a pre-employment background check.ย
