To achieve that goal, we are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can produce high volumes of engaging content that captures the daily work of our team and turns it into compelling social media posts. 

Position Overview 

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for developing ideas, filming, producing, and publishing a large volume of short-form video content each week across multiple platforms including: 

  • TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, LinkedIn 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys filming real-world content, telling stories through video, experimenting with creative ideas, and producing content at a fast pace. 

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and our technicians to capture real service work, installations, behind-the-scenes moments, customer experiences, and educational content that helps homeowners learn about plumbing and HVAC. 

This is a hands-on content creation role where the majority of your time will be spent filming, editing, and publishing content. 

Key Responsibilities 

Video Content Creation 

Produce,  shoot, and editing short-form videos weekly. 

Creative Idea Development 

We want someone who enjoys generating creative ideas, following trends, and testing new formats. 

Social Media Publishing & Scheduling 

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for managing the daily publishing schedule to meet the goals of the team. 

Photo Content Creation 

In addition to video content, this role will also support photo-based social media posts. 

Event and Field Content 

Our team regularly participates in events, training, and community activities that should be documented through social media, as well as on jobsite filming. 

Qualifications 

We are looking for someone who is comfortable producing content consistently and working in a fast-paced, creative environment. 

Preferred qualifications include: 

  • Experience creating short-form video content 

  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts 

  • Strong understanding of social media trends 

  • Comfortable filming and editing content quickly 

  • Ability to produce a high volume of content consistently 

  • Strong creativity and storytelling ability 

  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage posting schedules 

  • Comfortable working around technicians and job sites 

Preferred Skills (Bonus) 

The following experience is helpful but not required: 

  • Video editing experience using editing software 

  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business 

  • Photography skills 

  • Graphic design skills 

  • Experience using social media scheduling tools  

Work Environment 

This position will involve a mix of office work, field filming at job sites, event coverage, and content production and editing.
