Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: Compensation is negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: 4 days per week; rotating Saturdays

Animal and Bird Medical Center is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our compassionate, growing team! Our patients include much more than dogs and cats. From birds and rabbits to guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, and more, every day brings an opportunity to learn something new.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
  • Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and help coordinate the hospital's daily workflow
  • Monitor and manage appointments booked online
  • Check clients and patients in and out
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information
  • Use web-based software for client communication and patient records
  • Process payments and assist with front-desk transactions
  • Respond to client questions and provide clear information about hospital services and next steps
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to support efficient patient flow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to keep the hospital running smoothly
