Title- CNC Machinist II- Vertical Lathe
Direct Hire/ Full-time Job
Location- Libertyville, IL, 60048
Pay Rate- $61,000 - $70,000/ yearly
Shift Timing- 4 pm- 12:30 am (Mon- Fri)
Summary
  • CNC Machinist II - Vertical Lathe
  • As a CNC Machinist II, you’ll play a vital role in driving production excellence by maintaining a clean, efficient, and collaborative environment. Your precision and dedication will help ensure minimal downtime, consistent quality, and a culture of growth and stability.

Responsibilities
  • Log time and job data using ERP software
  • Interpret work orders, flow sheets, and part drawings
  • Inspect blueprint dimensions using manual gauges
  • Load and verify tools and fixtures; fabricate basic fixtures as needed
  • Pull and verify correct materials from staging area per WOPAC
  • Set up and operate 3-axis mills and basic 2-axis lathe work
  • Upload/download CNC programs from programmer to machine
  • Align vices and locate fixture centers accurately
  • Submit first article and final inspections to Quality Assurance
  • Run production parts and conduct in-process inspections
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles
  • Perform daily and monthly machine preventive maintenance
  • Communicate with Supervisor to ensure successful job completion
  • Support all safety and quality system requirements
  • Take on additional duties as assigned
  • Note: This is a safety-sensitive position.
