You will work onsite in a dynamic and fast-paced Surgical Center dedicated to addressing acute injuries and illnesses. • Respond promptly to trauma alerts, conducting initial assessments and evaluations of patients’ conditions.
• Stabilize critically injured patients and provide immediate medical care to prevent further deterioration.
• Assist during resuscitation efforts, performing lifesaving interventions as needed in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the trauma team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuous monitoring.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and accurately interpret diagnostic results to make informed decisions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by supervising physicians.
• Assist with invasive procedures and effectively manage wound care and rehabilitation efforts.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma care, recovery processes, and rehabilitation plans.
• Facilitate the transfer of patients to appropriate healthcare facilities when necessary.
• Monitor patient pain levels and implement pain management strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Follow established infection control protocols and safety standards in trauma care settings.

Your work will primarily focus on trauma patients, including those undergoing emergency surgeries and critical care. The role demands swift and decisive action in complex cases, where every second counts. You will support a diverse patient population, addressing both adult and pediatric cases, each with unique needs and challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to conduct thorough trauma assessments.
• Effective communication abilities essential for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or trauma care settings.
• Proficiency in trauma assessment techniques and stabilization protocols.
• Experience with documentation systems for patient care and treatment.
• Familiarity with trauma-related medications and interventions.

• Annual salary range of $140,000 to $180,000, based on experience.
