The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a T-6 Mechanical Systems Structures Engineer (NH-0861-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) on Tinker AFB in Oklahoma.

Salary Range: $89,508 - $138,370 depending on years of experience.
Travel: 15% travel expected
Qualifications/Requirements:
We are seeking a T-6 Mechanical Systems Structures Engineer to sustain the T-6 Texan II training aircraft for United States Air Force, Navy and Army users. As a T-6 mechanical systems and structures engineer, you are responsible for providing engineering support to keep the 741 aircraft in the fleet safe, suitable and effective for their training missions.This position is in the Legacy Training Aircraft Division as part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Training Directorate (WN).
Obtain maintain a Security clearance
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
This position requires travel
Familiarity with providing engineering dispositions for technical assistance
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Experience conducting thorough, accurate, and timely reviews of contractor deliverables
Ability to work effectively within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and across various functions
