Job description

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Read and interpret drawings and floorplans.
  • Estimate and source materials and installation supplies.
  • Install tile underlayment and waterproofing materials such as cement board, Hardie-backer, Wedi products, etc.
  • Cut and install tile, stone, LVT/LVP, or similar, according to manufacturer’s guidelines and best practices.
  • Cut, install and polish solid surface shower pieces such as quartz, marble and granite.
  • Cut and install finishing trim pieces such as Schluter.
  • Work with a team to execute high-end finished projects.
  • Having your own tools (hand and power)

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Willingness to complete on-the-job training.
  • Willingness to perform various other renovation tasks such as drywalling, painting and carpentry.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Previous experience setting tiles.
  • Carpentry and remodeling experience a plus.
