Job description

Assistant Coach for Track and Field - Throws
Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Coach for Track and Field - Throws. This position will provide assistant track/field coach duties assigned by the Head Men’s and Women’s Coaches for Track/Field within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College, the American Rivers Conference, and the NCAA III in a manner that will further the fitness, wellness, personal, social, and academic development of Coe students.
Work Schedule: 10 months per year, full-time exempt, benefit eligible.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Vigorously recruit students, including telephone recruiting, off-campus recruiting, and on-campus recruiting as assigned by the Head Men’s and Women’s Coaches for Track/Field.
  • Plan, organize and supervise the activities/practices/competitions as assigned by the Head Men’s and Women’s Coaches for Track/Field.
  • Additional Responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Previous coaching experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
  • Successful completion of a driver and criminal background check in accordance with Coe College policy..

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
