We are seeking an Account Engagement Specialist who knows how to open doors.

This role is for someone who is confident making cold calls, skilled at navigating gatekeepers, and persistent enough to uncover the right decision maker when the path is not obvious. If you thrive on initiating conversations, building prospect intelligence, and turning early interest into scheduled meetings, this role was designed for you.

    Job Description

    What You'll Do

You will serve as a key driver of commercial momentum by initiating outreach, qualifying accounts, and ensuring opportunities stay active and progressing.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Researching and building detailed prospect profiles within target accounts
    • Identifying and reaching decision makers in complex organizations
    • Conducting cold outreach by phone and email to initiate conversations
    • Securing meetings and coordinating multi-stakeholder discussions for Account Managers
    • Maintaining disciplined CRM documentation in HubSpot
    • Monitoring follow-ups and next steps to prevent stalled opportunities
    • Supporting onboarding touchpoints and ongoing engagement coordination
    • Contributing to outreach workflows and engagement process improvements

This role partners closely with Account Managers and Customer Experience to create visibility, accountability, and consistent movement across the customer journey.

    Qualifications

    Who You Are

You may be a strong fit if you:

    • Have experience in inside sales or outbound prospecting
    • Are comfortable picking up the phone and initiating conversations
    • Know how to work through gatekeepers professionally and confidently
    • Can quickly gather meaningful information from limited data
    • Balance relationship-building with disciplined documentation
    • Follow through without reminders
    • Take pride in persistence and professionalism

    Required Experience

    • 1-3+ years of inside sales, outbound prospecting, appointment setting, or account development experience
    • Experience conducting cold calls and qualifying leads
    • CRM proficiency required
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously

    Preferred Experience

    • Agriculture or agribusiness exposure
    • HubSpot CRM experience
    • Experience supporting field-based sales teams
    • Interest in workflow development and sales process optimization
    Additional Information

    Why Suterra?

    • High-visibility role with measurable influence on pipeline growth and opportunity progression
    • Direct collaboration with Account Managers and commercial leadership
    • A performance-oriented culture that values accountability, precision, and long-term growth

Suterra hires professionals who are proactive, disciplined, and committed to excellence. If you are motivated by progress, persistence, and professional standards, we encourage you to apply.
