The Director of Strategy and Continuous Improvement (CI) collaborates with executive leaders to identify and tackle pressing strategic challenges, develop growth strategies, enhance operational and technological efficiencies utilizing lean principles to deliver financial and organizational benefits. This position will develop and utilize its holistic team, including a Project Management Office, and partner with functional areas within FIJI Water to support the ongoing growth of the brand. Areas of focus include: Supply Chain, Operations, Production, Maintenance & Reliability, Quality, HR, Finance, Sales and Management Infrastructure.

Up to 25% travel is required in this role, both internationally to Fiji and domestically within the United States.  

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description
  • Lead high-impact strategic, commercial, and operational initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring successful execution and measurable business results.
  • Lead the commercialization of new products, including cross-functional planning, execution, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that support long-term business priorities and operational excellence.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior leaders to identify opportunities, align stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Continuous Improvement team, prioritizing work across multiple initiatives to maximize business impact and supporting travel and on-site work as needed.
  • Oversee the FIJI Water Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective project governance, portfolio management, and execution via Senior Manager of PMO.
  • Develop organizational Continuous Improvement capabilities through coaching, training, workshops, and leadership development.
  • Champion Lean, problem-solving, and change management methodologies to improve processes, eliminate waste, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to investigate business challenges, identify root causes, and implement sustainable process improvements and best practices.
  • Establish standardized processes, performance measures, and management systems that improve operational effectiveness and scalability.
  • Build and maintain a network of cross-functional subject matter experts within and outside the FIJI Water organization.
  • Travel as needed to support business partners, project execution, and organizational development initiatives, including domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, operations, technology, finance, or a related field, including 5 years of people management experience.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable executive presence.
  • Experience managing team members and developing junior employees.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or undefined situations.
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with a track record of taking initiative.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Pay Range: $190,000 - $220,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
