ProSidian Seeks a Spanish Translator | Translation and Interpretation [NSWC IHD0002007] Engagement Support | Sr Technical Writer Labor Category - Mid Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541930 located Indian Head, MD 20640 supporting The Naval Sea Systems Command is comprised of command staff, headquarters directorates, affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and numerous field activities. Together, we engineer, build, buy and maintain ships, submarines and combat systems that meet the Fleet's current and future operational requirements. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the Navy's six systems commands. With a fiscal year budget of approximately $36 billion, NAVSEA accounts for nearly one quarter of the Navy's entire budget. With a force of 86,886 (as of 1 Oct 2023) civilian and military personnel, NAVSEA engineers, builds, buys and maintains the Navy's ships and submarines and their combat systems. Provide services and support as a Translation and Interpretation Services (Spanish Translation) in the Defense, And Security Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division  (NSWC IHD) | Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Department of the Navy (DOD) Located In Indian Head, MD 20640 and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Spanish Translator

• Translate technical documents, legal agreements, and other materials from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to DoD standards in all translations.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet client specifications and timelines.

Desired Qualifications For Spanish Translator | Translation and Interpretation [NSWC IHD0002007] (NSWC IHD0002007) Candidates:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent grammar and written skills.
• Experience translating in a professional setting, especially with government or legal documents.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience.
