Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing functional and technical support expertise in the planning, coordination, and execution of payroll activities related to the implementation of enterprise HCM / ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, UKG, Infor, etc.). This role acts as a strategic partner to Payroll, HR, IT, and other business units, ensuring that system configurations and process designs meet organizational goals and compliance requirements. Additionally, the incumbent serves as subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Human Resources, or related field is required. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with centralized automated payroll processing systems or similarly related financial accounting field is required; or any equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience will be considered. Prior experience with ERP implementations, especially Oracle/Lawson solutions and UKG Time-Keeping systems are highly preferred. American Payroll Association (APA) certification is desirable. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process efficiency. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel/Spreadsheets. is required. Knowledge of SQL is highly preferred. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
