Premier Medical Resources is hiring for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist - RCM to join our team in Northwest Houston (77040 zip-code)
SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist - RCM is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) positions across the organization, while supporting other talent acquisition needs as assigned. This role partners with HR Business Partners, RCM leaders, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand current and future staffing needs and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies. Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and related functions is a strong asset, enabling the Specialist to better understand role requirements, identify qualified candidates, and build talent pipelines for specialized RCM positions. The Specialist develops and implements creative recruiting solutions that support Premier Medical Resources' mission to attract and hire high-quality talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Requisition
  • Provides advice to hiring managers on relevant processes/procedures for creating job requisitions, posting vacancies, and preparing for recruitment.
  • Review all job requisition information for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approvals.
  • Obtain position job description and verify content with HRIS Analyst.
  • Partner with RCM hiring managers to understand position requirements, including the knowledge, skills, experience, and technical competencies needed for revenue cycle roles, and formulate appropriate sourcing strategies based on these requirements.

Applicant Sourcing
  • Proactively source candidates through networking with employees, professional organizations, healthcare and revenue cycle networks, and other channels. Continuously build talent pipelines to meet current and future RCM hiring needs.
  • Network and engage passive candidates with skills and experience relevant to healthcare revenue cycle functions and current and future RCM hiring needs.
  • Create a visible presence out on social media for all current and future positions.
  • Develop and promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent through social media, job boards, and professional networks.

Selection and Hiring
  • Assess candidate applications and resumes for alignment with position requirements, with particular attention to relevant healthcare and revenue cycle experience for RCM positions.
  • Conduct thorough salary analysis for candidates offers to ensure equity and compliance with applicable policies.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by extending and compiling offer letters and negotiating employment terms.
  • Serve as a resource for prospective candidates providing information on available positions, status of application, or assistance in applying online.
  • Manage confidential data, build, and improve current practices, share ideas, and take ownership.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Process Improvement and Reporting
  • Uses data analytics to continuously improve PMR hiring process to ensure a streamlined and efficient process for leveraging technology.
  • Create monthly new hire report. Provide information of all hiring activity including but not limited to job postings, number of applicants per position, source of candidates, number of sponsored jobs, etc.
  • Provides report to hiring managers monthly of filled positions and current vacancies.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to manage the recruitment process from job requisition through onboarding with minimal oversight.
  • Strong skills in collaborating with hiring managers and HR business partners to assess talent needs, provide guidance, and deliver effective hiring solutions, including for specialized Revenue Cycle Management positions.
  • Skilled at sourcing candidates through multiple channels, including social media, professional networks, healthcare and RCM industry networks, and building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to use recruitment metrics and analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and company policies, with strong judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative, curious, and able to adapt to changing business needs while taking initiative to implement creative solutions.
  • Ability to understand and differentiate the experience and competencies required across RCM functions in order to effectively screen candidates and partner with hiring managers on specialized talent needs.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions and terminology, including patient access and pre-service activities, insurance verification and authorization, medical billing, coding, claims, payment posting, accounts receivable, denials, collections, and related revenue cycle workflows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or
  • Four (4) years of experience in lieu of education
  • Two (2) years of experience in talent acquisition in healthcare
  • Experience recruiting for Revenue Cycle Management roles is preferred.
