Position Summary
The Automotive Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, communicating repair recommendations, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional ownership experience.
This position offers strong earning potential through a salary plus commission compensation structure in a busy service department.
Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair recommendations
  • Educate customers on Subaru manufacturer-recommended services
  • Prepare complete and accurate repair estimates for labor and parts
  • Schedule service appointments and manage repair orders
  • Communicate vehicle status updates throughout the repair process
  • Handle incoming phone calls and customer inquiries
  • Coordinate repairs with technicians and parts personnel
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Follow up with customers as needed to ensure a positive experience

Requirements
  • 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
  • Dealership experience preferred
  • Subaru experience is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license required
