We’re looking for a hands-on Storage Center Manager to run day-to-day operations, lead a small team, and keep the property operating at a high level. This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be coaching staff, walking the property, auditing spaces, and ensuring customers and the facility are well taken care of.

This is a modern, state-of-the-art location with the tools, support, and systems in place for you to succeed.


What You’ll Do

· Manage daily operations of the storage facility.

· Lead and develop sales associates and maintenance staff to ensure strong performance and accountability.

· Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects—both in person and over the phone.

· Rent units, recommend appropriate sizes and services, and sell ancillary products based on customer needs.

· Utilize company software to lease units accurately and maintain customer records.

· Conduct daily property walks, space checks, and detailed facility audits to maintain security, cleanliness, and compliance.

· Oversee maintenance inside and outside the facility and coordinate repairs as needed.

· Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.

· Support company initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

· Proven leadership experience; background in self-storage, property management, retail, or hospitality preferred.

· Strong ability to hold a team accountable while maintaining a positive, service-driven culture.

· Detail-oriented operator with a sharp eye for audits, inspections, and overall facility standards.

· Excellent communication skills—able to listen, ask the right questions, and overcome objections.

· Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a team-first mindset.

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic management software.

· Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales associates and maintenance staff to ensure the property and customers are tended to effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional service to our customers and sales leads over the phone as well as to walk-in customers. our goal is 110% customer satisfaction.
  • Sell and recommend appropriate unit sizes and services based on individual customers' needs.
  • Utilize our software to lease units accurately, sell ancillary products, and maintain customer records.
  • Conduct daily visual and space audits of entire facility.
  • Oversee property maintenance both inside and outside of the facility.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter.
  • Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers in person and over the phone.
  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Proficient in the basic operations of Microsoft Office
